Description
Too often in the haste of modern living, a productive moment of heightened awareness can be missed entirely. Yet in most native cultures prior to their adaptation of modern living, people were closer to nature and instinctively knew the cycles and movements of seasons and how to read or use them to a greater benefit. Today rarely does a stressed individual pay attention to music or traditions that recognize future opportunities in weather such as winds and rains, but here we have in GAIA a composition that can restore anyone’s faith in they’re own power and connection with nature. GAIA is a musical portrayal of Kokopelli, the Native American mythic hero who restores abundance by bringing forth the second summer rains. Deeply relaxing flute and guitar blend exquisitely with sounds of water in this soul-filled composition that stimulates imagination and creativity. (43 min.)
